I am on a monthly contract with O2, and the thing that always makes me go over my contract is texting my mother in Ireland. With O2, each text costs 20p, which in a text convo with my mum, can cost me £1 or £2 a pop, which over a month can add up to an extra £10 on my bill!!
So this is how I found FishText. I love it, it's saved me ALOT of money texting my mother and other friends internationally.
Now it only cost me 1p a text to my mum's mobile in Ireland!!!!!
I have the FishText app on my phone, thats how I text her (sometimes I do it on the site too), and when she texts me back, she texts me as if she's texting anyone else.
Note - If she had the FishText app also (she doesn't unfortunately, she doesn't have the internet on her phone) we could text each other for free through the app!!)
