We had the honour of going on Whispering Bob Harris' show to talk about our tour, and do live session each! He was honestly one of the loveliest men I've ever met, a pure gentleman. We also got given Bob Harris beer!! Fiona drank hers (& I helped her!), but I've kept mine, as a momento of a lovely day. :) xx My pal Fiona Bevan asked me to pop along and sing backing vocals (on the title track, from her album 'Talk To Strangers') for VINTAGE TV. Lovely people so they are. And Ricky, who owns the Crypt Studios was super lovely too! Although, an early morning start (I hate early mornings!), it was FUN, and Fiona played wonderfully!! xx  I had a lovely evening recording two songs for the Ruth Barnes show on Amazing Radio! Myself & Fiona Bevan chatted about our 'Song Sisters' tour around the UK and generally had a really fun time. Ruth is an amazing person! The show will air this Saturday at 5th July 2014 and you can listen here - http://amazingradio.com/?show=ruthbarnes I had a super lovely day recording three songs for 'Songs from the Shed'! Jon Earl the brains behind it, is a lovely guy, and so wonderfully passionate about music. Fiona Bevan & Kelly Oliver also did sessions, and my friend Russell Swallow & Jess from Swallow & the Wolf even rocked up. It was a great day, and I'm looking forward to the videos being released in the coming weeks. (I'll keep you posted) xx |
