It's one of my favourite gigs to play. Mike and his lovely family create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and they care so much about music and putting on great shows.

Kal Lavelle headlines the beautiful The Cinnamon Club, Manchester (Altrincham) on Friday 12th June 2015.

Kal Lavelle is an Irish born singer songwriter, now living in London. 
The Sunday Mirror have listed her as a 'One to Watch' and Ed Sheeran took her on tour in both the UK & Ireland. 
Kal Lavelle's EP 'Shivers' went Top 5 in the iTunes 'Singer Songwriter' Chart, and the single was iTunes 'Single Of The Week' in the UK (downloaded 60,000 times). Additionally, she entered the Top 10 singer songwriter charts in Japan, Netherlands and Belgium. 
Kal's track the 'The Ocean' features on the UK playlist of Pret A Manger, the song also features on Perez Hilton's POP UP #2 Album (released in the USA & Canada). Perez describes her music as “Exquisitely beautiful & raw”. 
Watch out for her new album, which is due for release in 2015.

Jess Thristan has had an exciting couple of years. From releasing her first EP "Side By Side" at the beginning of 2014 and reaching #8 on the Singer-Songwriter iTunes charts, between Ed Sheeran and Jake Bugg, to signing a sync and publishing deal with the esteemed A&G Sync. 
Jess released her debut single "Little Bird" in October 2014 and it gained fantastic support from Clare Balding on her Good Morning show on BBC Radio 2. Clare also invited Jess into BBC Radio 2 to perform a live session.
Jess' debut album will be released in 2015.

LizzieJane is a Altrincham's based sassy singing/songwriting young lady. She's made several appearances at The Cinnamon Club before, with her fanbase growing every time.

A lovely lady called Sophia Lopes asked me to play a charity gig she was organising in South London. 

I played it tonight, and it was lovely. All her hard work payed off, being an event organiser, when you haven't done it before is extremely stressful, but she was brilliant and handled it with grace.

The Audience were lovely too and it was really nice to meet people after I played, thats my next best favourite thing to do. 

My NEXT GIG will be in Montreux Jazz cafe in Harrods (third floor) on Saturday 28th March 2015 (a late afternoon gig, 1 hour set, 4.30pm-5.30pm, Free in!)

As some of you are aware, I ran a weekly acoustic night for 5 years. I've now decided to do it quarertly and on a bigger scale!

The first of these events will be - WE LOVE CHRISTMAS. In St Giles in the Fields church (central London) on Thursday 11th Dec 2014.

I've decided to give the profits of the event to CRISIS at Christmas, a charity that helps homeless people, so it's for a great cause!

Hey! I'm writing this on a bus, on my way from Phnom Penh (Capital of Cambodia) down south to Kep. Which is meant to be very beautiful.

I'm basically on holiday. But no doubt I'll end up playing somewhere over here, I'm keeping an eye out for music nightss. :)

I played a couple of impromptu songs at a house gig in York tonight.....

It got me thinking. I wish there were more House Concerts in the UK.

If you don't know what a house gig is, it's a gig that you have in your house. (It can be unplugged or plugged in).You ask your favourite artist, artists to come and play. They say yes! Then you invite your friends along, and they say, wow that's different, yes please! Then they pay a donation each which goes towards the fee for the artist. And wham bam thank you mam, you have a unique night, that is great for artist, audience and you!

I mean, there's only so many dinners, pub outings you can go to, why not do something different that your friends will remember for always?

Maybe consider it? There's many many artists that love house concerts and they are waiting for you to ask them to come to your house. Honestly. :)
