First Official Visit of an Irish President to the UK -
Royal Albert Hall Celebration gig.
I was lucky enough to perform in the Royal Albert Hall yesterday (Thurs 10th April 2014) in front of the President of Ireland Michael D Higgins and assorted British Royalty!
It was the First Official visit of an Irish President to the UK, a historic event, and celebrated in the absolutely beautiful Royal Albert Hall.
A choir was created, especially for the event by The London Irish Centre. A choir made up of talented singers, Irish (or Irish decent), now living in London, and I was lucky enough to be one of them!
It was a massive honour.
And experience I will never forget!

P.S - and I got to meet Glen Hansard. He's a musical hero of mine!! That was pretty cool too!! :)
